Read two 1920s mysteries yesterday: Murder at the Brightwell by Ashley Weaver is a Mary Stewart-like hotel-guest mystery (recommended) and The Impersonator by Mary Miley is a compelling tale of a vaudeville actress hired to impersonate a lookalike missing heiress about to come into her fortune (highly recommended)

Hmmmm. I'll have to check out The Impersonator; that summary reminds me of Brat Farrar.

It's been so long since I've read anything by Mary Stewart (a couple of her mysteries were condensed for Cosmopolitan in the '60s) that something in that vein sounds like fun!!
