J.K. Rowling has finally started her own official web site at http://www.jkrowling.com because, she says, she gets a huge volume of letters and this seemed to be a good way to respond to fans all at once. As you can imagine, it's very well designed (although the faint owl hoot every once in a while is a bit annoying). There's a news report, a place where she addresses rumors, and a biography. Evidently every once in a while a Dark Mark becomes live and reveals a spoiler for the next book -- didn't happen to me while I was checking it out, though.
