Haven't been able to post or read in a while thanks to a combination of Stephen's visit and our trip to Boskone.

To start, a belated happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] davidlevine!

Boskone: Had a good time (as always) and found a new nearby restaurant with mondo portions and stuff I can eat. Temps were in the mid-20s but thanks to the hotels being connected to a mall containing restaurants, we only had to go outside a couple of times for dinner. The last day featured snow but otherwise the weather wasn't bad. I actually even attended a couple of panels and my friend Eve's new books were carried in the dealer's room for the first time, so that was fun. Got to spend some time with [livejournal.com profile] marykaykare and [livejournal.com profile] farahmendelsohn and do some more planning for programme ops at Interaction.

Stephen's visit: Too short. We did get to see Bride and Prejudice )

Other stuff: India trip progresses apace - I got a very generous offer of hospitality from a London fan who will be out of town (whom I'd name but I'm not sure he'd want everyone to know about it) and has offered me the use of his flat. As I'm arriving at Heathrow on Friday rather later than I usually like, I'm going to spend Friday and Saturday nights in a kosher hotel to avoid the whole Sabbath arrangements routine. Now all I have to do is figure out how to pack for India, a few days in London, and a convention all in a suitcase that I can manage myself on public transportation despite my RSI!
