Took one of my hoarded pain pills last night so I could get a little sleep through the neck pain, which my chiropractic visit (paid for by check as my WC benefits have not been restored) only helped a little. Woke up from bizarre fractured drug dreams in the middle of the night with abdominal cramps followed shortly by all the classic signs of mild food poisoning, of which I will spare you the gory details. Cramps have abated somewhat but I've been perched with the electric blanket on my tummy and an ice pack on my neck. Just take me out to the paddock and put me out of my misery - I promise I'll go quietly.
