My worldcon schedule

For the first time in years, I was not invited to participate on the worldcon program. Instead, I'll be working the Australia in 2010 bid table most days and also possibly helping out at Program Ops once a day. Should be a nice change of pace to just put in my 2 - 3 hours and then cheerfully wave goodbye instead of living in the PO office for the entire con!

Medical Verdict

Tuesday was an interesting day: an MRI at 10:15 a.m. and a root canal at 2:30 p.m. Not your fun schedule. ( The deets )

I'm trying not to whinge too much about this but having to sleep on my back and deal with the arm pain for many more weeks than I was expecting has not exactly put me in the best mood in the world. But I am grateful that the damage doesn't appear to be permanent or require surgery.
