Saw the physiotherapist late yesterday after not seeing him for 10 days due to his being on vacation. He said that the neck pain from carrying stuff last week, which I feared was a reinjury of the disk, is evidently just soft tissue damage. He is pleased with my progress, claiming that my neck mobility is much improved which apparently means that the disk bulge must be smaller. I'm still under the same restrictions as before (no bending the neck to read, no carrying, frequent breaks to lie flat, etc.) until, he says, I have many more good days than bad. But there are definite signs that the neck is healing. Yay!

(Another reason for my good mood is that through some freaky weather pattern, the high today is supposed to be 80F degrees despite it still being early spring :-> )
