Small Victory

Just called my chiropractor and got some good news: the state has accepted the QME (neutral qualified medical examiner) report as justifying both further treatment and coverage of my chiro's past treatment (he treated me for over two months without telling me that they weren't paying him!). The conditions of coverage have changed, though: instead of my going every two weeks for maintenance, he now has to treat me three visits in a row for "flare-ups" and then stop for a while until I come in with another flare-up. This isn't a very good strategy for me as it means I have to wait for pain to resurface before going in again and I don't think it really means that many fewer visits for them to pay for but it's better than nothing.
