First one in a while: here in the Bay Area it felt like a relatively minor roller but the epicenter was further south and it was a 5.9, which is significant as these things go.

As usual, everyone in the hallway at work started talking about the ur earthquake experience up here: the 1989 World Series earthquake. I always get extra points in those conversations because I was actually at Candlestick Park but this time around all I could do was mention that in a note thanks to my laryngitis :->

Let's see: earthquakes, hurricanes, cicadas, possibility of Mt St Helens blowing in the next couple of days... Anyone up for frogs and hail?
