Passov-la-la-la-la-la
Mar. 6th, 2006 09:01 amMy brother and I went into a supermarket yesterday and before I could avert my eyes, we were confronted with a large Passover food display. I've been desperately trying not to think about Passover: first of all, I can't imagine how I'm going to manage for a week to keep Passover in a house inhabited by someone who isn't. (The fact that he doesn't cook helps but still...) More importantly, I haven't made any ties to the community yet so I have no idea what I'm going to do about the Passover seder. I know there are places I can go away but I haven't made arrangements for them and I really don't want to do that now that I'll just have been away for this long (not to mention the expense for a single person). I am hoping there is a community seder somewhere but haven't been able to find one online, although hopefully as Passover draws nearer, there will be more visible resources. Meanwhile, every time I start to think about it I just put my fingers in my ears and start humming loudly.
